AUTOARCH and Vanir were selected to lead the 2022 Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA) for Fort Bend County—a comprehensive evaluation of more than 70 facilities totaling over 1 million square feet. The portfolio ranged from libraries, government offices, and maintenance facilities to warehouses, juvenile centers, law enforcement buildings, and the county jail.
To deliver a holistic and data-driven assessment, AUTOARCH assembled a multidisciplinary team of architectural, MEP, roofing, and building envelope assessors. Our team conducted on-site evaluations and created all necessary background inputs, including base drawings and system inventories. We utilized smart software to streamline data entry, reporting, and long-term capital planning.
The final FCA deliverable provided Fort Bend County with a clear, prioritized view of facility needs across their entire portfolio. The assessment served as a strategic tool for capital planning, maintenance prioritization, and funding allocation—equipping the County with the data needed to invest wisely in its public infrastructure.
