Co-Founder and Principal In Charge of AUTOARCH Architects, Lina is an industry-recognized leader and mentor in sustainable design and community engagement. Lina spearheads AUTOARCH’s focus on 21st Century spaces and workforce initiatives, promoting the firmwide integration of sustainable practices. With over 30 years of experience in architecture, planning, engineering, and facilitation, Lina is passionate about sustainable, multidisciplinary, research-based design. She believes in bringing all parties together early in the design process to generate new ideas, establish collaborative working relationships, and build a strong foundation for success. Her portfolio includes various projects, from academic programming, connected campuses, and master plans to new building, conservation, and renovation projects, reflecting her expertise in curating dynamic design and project management processes.
As the key player in supporting AUTOARCH’s ongoing dedication to community service, she participates as a board member and volunteer on numerous local, state, national, and international foundations and committees for educational, business, civic, and professional causes. Recognized in 2015 as among d-mar’s Top 30 Influential Women of Houston, clients regard her as a powerful advocate for design excellence in creating high-performing, exceptional solutions for their projects.
